Vincent ODILI CSSp…Final Vows & Diaconate Ordination

11 Aug

Our Enlarged Provincial Council (EPC 2013) was so blessed that within it our confrere Vincent ODILI CSSp made his perpetual commitment (Final Profession) to the Spiritan life on August 9, 2013. This he made in the presence of the Provincial Superior Fr. Hyacinth Ogbodo CSSp and other confreres cum lay faithful.

The following morning (August 10, 2013) Vincent ODILI CSSp was ordained a Deacon. The beautiful well organised liturgical celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Michael Olatunji Fagun (Emeritus Bishop of Ekiti Diocese). Through his episcopal hands, our brother Vincent became a Deacon. Present were the Superior Fr. Hyacinth Ogbodo CSSp, Fr. Bede Ukwuije CSSp (Representative from Rome), seminarians cum priest confreres of our province. Many religious women and lay faithful were also present.

In the picture above, Rev. Vincent ODILI CSSp joyfully dances with his Mum, confreres and lay faithful after the diaconate ordination.

The diaconate ordination of Rev. Vincent ODILI CSSp is the first ordination to take place within the compound of our new Provincialate in Benin City. Again, it is the first ordination in our circumscription since our elevation as “Province”. For the same reasons, his Final Profession remains an historic event for our Province.

We thank God his blessings so far. Cor unum et anima una.

I do agree with all the ideas you’ve introduced on your post.
They’re very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are
too short for novices. May you please lengthen them a bit from
next time? Thank you for the post.
